I consciously avoided reading/watching election news ahead of and during this year's midterm elections. Ever since 2016 happened, I have severe election anxiety, and try to have very low expectations about favorable outcomes. I was so surprised and very pleased with this year's results. Polls (and media outlets) frequently get things wrong. As it turns out, women don't like having their human rights taken away by right-wing extremists and men. Let's keep speaking.
