I heard the phrase "NO-vember" on a podcast and it struck me. As I age, although I am still a people-pleaser by nature, and usually filled with guilt by disappointing or inconveniencing others, I have been getting better and better every year about keeping and holding boundaries both at work and in my personal life, while trying not to be too selfish.
Even though this sign is missing an article and doesn't capture some of the nuance about balancing serving the self and others, I liked it a lot.
