I hope that the verb "Zooming" is being phased out, slowly. I'm ready to ditch all things virtual and get back to normal in-person things as the seasons change... again.
We ended our second "pandemic summer" on a 80-degree day in these parts, which is incredibly unusual (before and after that day, it has been in the usual 60s).
We visited the Zoo and Redwood Skywalk last weekend as well, which still requires masking.

We didn't *plan* to meet up with any friends, but ran into Clara/Ashton and their mom, Sarah (we live in a small area!) and the kids hung out in the petting area. I also saw Claudia, a birth center nurse, up on the Skywalk (recognizable even with masks).
This is how we all feel at this point in the pandemic, where time has seemed to pass interminably slowly at times...
...but yet here we are nearing the end of 2021 which is hard to believe (pandemic time is seriously warped and has been flying by for me this year)! It's officially now my favorite season (fall)! Bring on the cool mornings, sweaters, all things pumpkin spice, and warm drinks...
