This is opening weekend for Frozen 2 in theaters, if anyone of you non-parents didn't know already! We haven't gone yet to see the film, but Iver's been asking about it incessantly. We all love the original Frozen in this house. Iver's been taking a Saturday morning theater class with All Star Theatre Arts, a Eureka-based theater company, who put on a all-kid-cast musical production of Frozen this weekend. He and I (theater buddies) watched the show at Eureka High School on Saturday.
We also got tickets for the pre-show "Royal Festival," which included crafts (Iver made an icy crown), snack, face-painting (Iver declined) and photo-ops with "Lobby" Elsa and Anna (Iver also declined)

The kids who performed did really well (there's some real voice talent here!), and the show certainly was entertaining!

Maybe we'll have time to see Frozen 2 in theaters next weekend. And maybe Iver will be on stage one of these days!
