Sea and Shells

We had another lovely Humboldt Day and took Kieu and Jimmy up to Trinidad to hike the Head.

 

I'm not sure how well it shows up in pictures but we saw "rainbow" spray from the waves crashing on this rock!

We had never hiked up this "spur" but got some really nice views!  Check out the blue skies and waters-- these photos are UNedited!

We hiked down to the Trinidad State Beach but the tide was too high to walk on the sand! (Bummer, thought Pep, who loves the beach).

We then shucked four dozen Humboldt Bay oysters (well, Kelvin, Kieu, and Jimmy shucked! I just ate a few).

Kieu got really good!

We had a relaxing rest-of-the-day with nap/NFL-time :)
