We have been lucky to not have to kennel our first "baby" when we have been on vacation. Since Remy, my parents' dog, is questionably friendly around other dogs, we had to come up with a plan for Pepper in our absence last month rather than drag her East with us.
Kelvin's parents in Orange County love Pepper and fell even more in love while watching her in April when we were in South Korea/China. Despite the required 12-hr-roundtrips up to and back from the Bay area to pick her up from us and to return her, they happily cared for her this trip, too.
We loved getting updates from the grandparents (Kelvin even tried to "facetime" with Pep as were still in the country!) and here are some cute photos.

Pepper has the best grandparents! They are getting good practice for their human grandson (which I think they will probably favor over their granddog)!
