Apurva reminded us that it was ONE YEAR AGO that we embarked on the journey to climb the highest mountain in Africa.
This winter, K and I will celebrate another life-changing event; however, the Kilimanjaro climb last year, chronicled by one of my favorite blog posts, was the most amazing experience of my life to this date. On 10/19/13 at 0605 AM, we watched the sun rise over Africa, which is something that brought me to tears and which I will never forget.
