Niall (at 7 years and almost 3 months) just lost his first tooth! We are surprised it took so long, as most of his classmates have all kinds of holes in their mouth.
We went to the dentist about a month ago and he told Niall to get busy with homework wiggling those lower teeth as his adult teeth (we call them his "shark teeth") were already starting to come in behind the lower central incisors (otherwise, they'd have to be extracted soon). They weren't loose, but did become so quickly.
The tooth fairy (of which he seemed skeptical) dropped $2 on his first tooth!
Aunt Katherine made this side-by-side from when those first two lower teeth came in to the present day.
Will the other one follow soon? (It's definitely wiggly!).
