Last week, we attended the kids' Open House on Thursday. We started in Niall's first grade classroom, where he was proud to show us his "libros"...
...as well as his writing.
I learned that "El Duende" means a gnome.
Iver helped work on these 'Planetas."
Fourth graders get to make contraptions for an "egg drop."

Success! (We then had to stop Niall from running around with a raw egg as he likes to do).
Iver did a nice biography in slides (and in Spanish) about Jesse Owens for Black History month.

On Saturday, Open Door had its annual picnic (Open Door Fest). I missed the beginning of it due to napping post-call, but Iver got all dressed up to help Kelvin Emcee for the Service Awards...
Yes, he wanted to look "cool" like a rapper, with his "4 Chains" on display!
Iver also joined Arcata clinic's kickball team and did really well!
Kelvin (CMO), along with Tory (CEO), Michelle (HR) and our friend Sarah (VP/Operations) sat in the dunk tank, which was a big hit!
The kickball team won third place in the tournament!
