Iver got a root beer making kit from Santa for Christmas and he tried it out last week. We had to make a yeast-water mixture and a root beer-extract/water/sugar mixture, and then let it sit on the counter for a few days for carbonation.
I'm not quite sure what went wrong, but ours never got bubbly-- we have flat root beer in a milk jug. I think we'll try again for round #2!
