Noble VI

A summertime (July) visit to Fieldbrook's Noble Blueberry Farm with our friends Kellie, Mark, and their similarly aged kids has become a Humboldt Tradition (they also got married just six days after us in 2011 so our married life journeys parallel, too). We missed going in 2020 due to the COVID lockdown but, despite holidays and summer travel, have made it there in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and even 2021!)

Fieldbrook (slightly more inland than we live) generally has warm(er), sunny weather, and it was a lovely afternoon for berry picking.

Kellie has become a "berry, berry" dear friend to me!

This year, due to advanced picking ability (the kids at ages 7 and 4), it didn't take quite as long of a time to fill up their coffee can buckets, so we had some extra time to hang out at Kellie and Mark's place. 

It's neat seeing and comparing these kids' pics year to year at the same local farm. I hope 2023 will keep the streak alive!
