My parents came into town from McLean last week to meet their first grandchild! Mom and dad have been been great baby-holders, giving Iver lots of snuggles (and me time to do laundry and even exercise! :)), as well as helping with meal preparation, dishes, laundry-folding, and the like. We've been blessed with gorgeous weather (I think it was in the 70s today!) and have been taking walks-- at the Arcata marsh, Arcata Redwood Forest, and the neighborhood, but also have been spending lots of time hunkering down at home, reading and watching Aussie Open tennis.
We still have a very good daytime (afternoon mainly) snoozer, who loves to sleep on our chests.
At 4 weeks old as well as earlier this week (alas, no photos), Iver (asleep in the middle!) got to meet and hang out with Levi (at left, born 30 minutes after Iver was!) and Bentley (at right, born three days later), his December birth buddies!

He is sleeping 3-3.5-hour stretches in the snuggle nest, but still having alarming, projectile vomiting which caused us much stress last night and which we hope to get evaluated this week. Let's hope it's just bad reflux or an overfilled tummy and not pyloric stenosis, which requires surgery...
