Sequoia Park in Eureka is a lovely place to walk amongst the majestic trees.
Iver attended a birthday party there last weekend while I was on call, and Kelvin and Niall reactivated our family gift membership and popped over to nearby Sequoia Park Zoo.
The (relatively) new Skywalk, a major attraction, was open for visiting.
They could actually spot Iver playing tag in the park from the Skywalk!

They spotted the elusive bush dog which, in years of going to this zoo, we'd never seen out and about (or well/un-injured)!
The Otter Tube
We've been having an extremely rainy week (good for the drought but not great when you have active kids who don't like to be cooped up). In a break in the May showers, we donned our boots and went back to Sequoia Park on Saturday morning to walk the trails.

We love the trees and do need the rain but appreciate the interludes of sun!
