Since COVID hit, we have been missing our SoCal family. Kelvin's sister Theresa came up in March, his parents were here in April post-vaccination, but we hadn't seen our nephew and godson (the boys' cousin), Kingston (or his brother, Klian) since last February. Thankfully, all adults are now fully vaccinated.
A new budget airline just started flying into town with a hub in Burbank which, in SoCal, is not far from where Kelvin's family lives. Always happy for a deal, K's brother Kenn decided to book a flight for him and Kingston (who is just two weeks older than Iver) for this long Memorial Day weekend.
Iver looked forward to it for weeks! What we didn't tell him (for a surprise) was that we also booked a ticket for his aunt, Katherine, who is undoubtedly his most favorite person in the world.

While I was stuck at the hospital for a lot of time this past weekend and missed out on all the outings, the kids and aunt/uncle had a blast around the north coast. Kelvin and they took a lot of pictures which I'll post in installments.
