This happened in our house this week:
1. Iver (a highly persistent six, who has been playing nightly chess games with one of us) beat Kelvin quickly in a in fewer than ten moves (please take note of how many teeth he has here).
2. Emboldened by his quick victory, Iver challenges Kelvin to another game; however, this is a game in which his queen gets captured fairly early. Iver (also highly intense and sensitive), distraught, flings himself onto the couch, and knocks out his right central incisor (which, while mildly loose, wasn't particularly close to falling out. This is his third lost tooth).
I am not sure that many people find chess a sport with a high chance of bodily (dental) harm. Losses of a queen, tooth (which bled quite a lot)... I suspect that he'll be more careful in his next game!

The real story: Kelvin cracked his iPhone screen protector by dropping his phone in a parking lot last weekend (the phone was fine, but he peeled off the old one and got a replacement screen protector). Niall wanted to "prank me" by putting the old protector on my phone (which actually has a kid-proof indestructible case). Niall had a sticker on his forehead from school for unknown reasons and made a very funny face. Iver (who had knocked out his tooth a few minutes prior on the couch, not by a blow from the phone, smiled innocently for the photo.).
Life with these boys sure stays interesting.
