"Dogs in a pocket"

Iver really likes spicy sausages and hot dogs (the Humboldt Hottie at the plaza stand is his favorite).
Kelvin recently bought some little smokies to try on him, but they weren't to his satisfaction.
To put a spin on them/make them more palatable, I suggested that I could wrap them in crescent roll dough and bake them.

Kelvin remarked, "Oh, like 'dogs in a pocket'!"

"I think they're actually called 'pigs in a blanket'," I replied, "but technically, yes."

Iver only ate the regular sausage-wrapped ones and not the little smokies-wrapped ones, but, while not pretty as is usually the case when I make or bake anything, they tasted ok!
